Who we are

We work across the UK, mobilising the PhD community to support less advantaged students to access the most competitive universities, and to succeed when they get there. Students have the chance to visit a university and see where their interests and passion could take them.

What we do

The Scholars Programme gives students in KS2-KS5 the opportunity to explore higher education and build key skills to help them succeed in the next stages of their education. Students take part in a series of seven university-style tutorials, delivered in-school by a PhD tutor throughout the course of an academic term. The courses are designed to be creative, foster a love of learning and engage students in a variety of literature. The tutorials are based on the tutor’s area of research.
