Who we are
The Beatles Story is based in Liverpool’s Albert Dock; during your visit you and your pupils will be transported back in time to the Sixties to discover how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to international stardom. Your visit to the Beatles Story will involve a self-guided tour of the exhibition, including replicas of the Casbah, Mathew Street and the Cavern, and a living history audio tour. Pupils can then have a taught session in the Discovery Zone, learning about the lives, times, music and the influential legacy of The Beatles using the interactive screens and a giant piano. History, Art and Music are explored and the Beatles Story offers online resources which link to Key Stages 2 & 3 of the National Curriculum, along with a downloadable risk assessment and evaluation. The Beatles Story also has a bookable Chill Out Zone available for groups to eat packed lunches and to store coats. The Beatles Story holds the Quality Badge for their excellent Learning Outside the Classroom offer. Pupils experience fun hands on learning in a unique setting, enabling embedded learning to take place through a variety of exciting and engaging activities.
