Stockport Museums

Who we are

Stockport's rich heritage is showcased across our museum service. We have five sites - Stockport Air raid Shelters, Stockport Museum, Staircase House, Bramall Hall and Hat Works. These offer a range of experiences from exploring the tunnels beneath Stockport and getting a flavour of life during WW2 to visiting a Tudor manor house in the heart of a local park.

What we do

We offer a programme of hands-on learning sessions for schools and are always happy to tailor activities to different settings and key stages. We're also open to project work, informal visits and partnership working. We also offer a range of fun, informal learning activities for families.
