Who we are
The Rubbish Shakespeare Company (RubSC) are a children’s and family-friendly theatre company, with roots in Creative Education. Founded by three LJMU graduates in 2007, RubSC’s mission is to make Shakespeare For All. Their goal: for the Bard’s work to be accessible to everyone, regardless of background. As for those who’ve had negative formative experiences with Shakespeare, RubSC want to show Shakespeare is not, in fact, rubbish!
What we do
Workshops: The Rubbish Shakespeare Company will help your pupils understand this essential subject through highly engaging and interactive performances, and with comprehensive bespoke workshops. Performances: Our performances are an hour long, featuring a hilarious mix of original text, modern pop culture references, energetic improvisation and heaps of audience interaction that will engage all before them.
