Rachel McMurray - Freelance Artist

Who we are

Rachel is a theatre director and facilitator, based in the North West, creating theatre for, and with, a variety of communities and individuals. She is committed to directing and devising theatre which rouses conversation and stimulates social change. She is also artistic director of Fine Comb Theatre company, and an associate lecturer at Staffordshire University.

What we do

Rachel regularly devises and delivers education and community arts-based projects. She specialises in engaging challenging and hard-to-reach young people and adults. She regularly delivers a range of projects which focus on the exploration of drama and theatre skills, or theme-based/issue-based workshops utilising drama as a platform for young people's voices. Rachel delivers projects in schools, community centres, in prisons and with targeted groups of young people.
