Who we are

Prescot Museum focuses on the local history of Knowsley as a borough, including the important clock and watch making industry. It is a colourful museum, with a range of museum cases exploring different themes, along with a small child-friendly drawing area.

What we do

Prescot Museum reflects the historical significance of Prescot and the cultural identity of its community. The colourful displays of images and artefacts tell the story of Knowsley and its people – how they lived and where they worked. We run a range of satellite projects and activities, including 'The mini museums project', 'Family First Saturday' workshops for families and a new creative writing project called 'From Pen to Paper'.
