Who we are

Ordsall Hall has had a long and interesting history with many different uses since it was first mentioned in records in 1177! Today, it is a welcoming and friendly historic house telling the story of the Hall and some of the people who made it their home. Our learning programme for Key Stage 1 and 2 focused on Tudor life and offers an immersive experience for students.

What we do

Our schools learning programme offers a wide range of stimulating and memorable facilitated sessions at our two stunning venues, all designed to inspire and engage young minds. Get hands-on with real museum objects in our curriculum-linked learning sessions, or explore our collections with downloadable resources – there’s so much on offer for schools visiting Ordsall Hall and our sister site Salford Museum & Art Gallery! Visit our website to find out more - or drop us a line.
