Who we are

Manchester Literature Festival (MLF) began trading in 2006 and was built on the legacy of its successful predecessor, Manchester Poetry Festival. MLF provides unique and imaginative opportunities for audiences to experience high quality live literature via an annual festival format and associated project activities.

What we do

In terms if children and young people here at Manchester Literature Festival we are committed to developing and delivering work that offers access to the very best in contemporary writing from across the world. We do this through a wide range of different projects and events supporting our annual Festival, and a year round programme of opportunities supporting children and young people to be inspired by stories and literature.
