Who we are

Dreamtime Film is an award-winning independent film company based near Windemere in Cumbria. Its core work is in producing documentary and narrative films. Work with young people and schools aims to share the craft, practice and expertise of filmmaking. Dreamtime can bring the kit required for workshops in animation (clay and drawn) and filmmaking. They are also interested in exploring new techniques and technlogies. For example projection mapping is a technique whereby still and moving images are projected onto buildings or other large surfaces so that the projected image interacts with the features of the surface to dynamic effect.
