Who we are

We are Blackburn Youth Zone – a once-in-a-lifetime project to turn around the opportunities and options available to young people within Blackburn. We are a state of the art facility, located at the heart of Blackburn. Offering world class equipment, cutting-edge resources, tailor made sports and arts programmes and extensive mentoring and personal support – we will irrevocably change the prospects offered to Blackburn’s young people. For all backgrounds, for all abilities, for all of the community…open 365 days a year. And all for just 50p admission…! We have extensive sport and fitness facilities, with a multitude of sporting classes and opportunities (including tennis, hockey, netball, unihock, cricket, dodgeball), a state-of-the-art gym and a rooftop kick pitch. An exciting and varied arts programme includes an expansive dance studio, arts and music workshops, visual arts apparatus and accredited options. An informal and relaxed atmosphere with a range of indoor activities and a chill-out zone.
