dot-art Schools

dot-art Schools is an interactive, online, inter-school art competition which culminates in an annual exhibition of the winning artworks and prize giving ceremony. Next June 2018 the sixth annual exhibition and prize giving ceremony for Liverpool City region will be held at Liverpool School of Art & Design and the second annual exhibition and prize giving ceremony for dot-art Schools Cheshire will be held at the Storyhouse cultural hub in Chester.

The competition is open to both primary (year 5 students) secondary (year 9 students) and SEND schools in Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, Halton and St Helen's, and across Cheshire and Warrington. There is no set theme for entries and both 2D and 3D work is eligible. dot-art Schools is designed to nurture talent, raise ambition, and take art out of the classroom and into the real world.

Set up in 2012 in response to demand from local schools; to date almost 4000 children from over 230 Primary and Secondary & SEND schools in the Liverpool City Region and Cheshire have participated!
