Put your creative learning practice on the map
The government has made over £400m available to fund summer schools and holiday activity clubs across England.
You may have recently seen Curious Minds' open letter, in which we called on the Government and school leaders to 'pass the baton' on summer learning to the nation’s army of teaching artists and creative educators. We also highlighted the very real and pressing need amongst our country’s young people for a summer of creative fun, freedom and friendship, that will give them the best possible route to effective learning when the new academic year begins in autumn.
As part of this campaign, we have developed an interactive digital map of creative learning providers to make it easier for schools and local authority commissioners to visualise and connect with the creative and cultural workforce in their local area. We are now working with colleagues in the national network of Bridge Organisations to take this message out to schools and the cultural sector nationwide.
We would love it if you would share this opportunity to your networks so everyone can have a #SummerofFun.
